What this is

Curve2gether is a game. These terms cover using it. They are deliberately short, because the app collects nothing about you and there is not much to agree about.

Using the game

You may play it. You may not:

• interfere with other players' matches by attacking the service — flooding the server, exhausting its capacity, or disrupting matches you are not in
• modify the client to gain an advantage in online matches
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the server or to other players' connections

The server is authoritative about what happens in a match. A modified client cannot change the outcome, and attempting it may end your connection.

Availability

The online service is provided as-is, with no guarantee of availability. It may be unavailable for maintenance, may be discontinued, and matchmaking may not find you an opponent. Offline play against AI works without a connection and does not depend on the service at all.

Content

There is no user-generated content: no chat, no uploads, and nothing you can type that another player sees. There is nothing to moderate and nothing you can publish through the app.

Your name is an exception only in appearance. It is drawn, not written: the server picks one adjective and one noun from a fixed list and the app shows the result. You can ask for a different draw — You → New name — and you cannot choose or enter one. So no name in this game was authored by anybody.

The hall of fame shows the current week's longest rounds. Entries are removed when you delete your data, and the board itself starts again every week.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the game. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or anything else that cannot be limited by law — including your statutory rights as a consumer under EU and Austrian law, which these terms do not affect.

Governing law

Austrian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you reside.

Changes

Material changes will be noted here with a new date, and in the app's release notes. Continuing to play after a change means accepting it.
