What to put in the mail

A report that names a version and a device can be reproduced. Without them the first reply is a question, which costs both of us a day. Four lines are enough:

The four things people write about

There is nobody to play against. Alone in the online queue you wait, and the game offers to start a match against bots — nothing starts you into one without asking. Take the offer and it prefers a free seat in a match already running over opening a new room, so the second person queueing that evening plays the first one rather than their own private set of bots. A bot-filled room has four seats and the empty ones stay open, which is why taking the offer is also the thing that gives the next player somebody to meet. Two or more people in the queue skip all of this: a five-second countdown starts, in the open, and anyone who arrives during it joins that room.

The match dropped and a bot took over. A seat is held for 30 seconds after a connection dies, and a bot plays it meanwhile at full strength, so a disconnect is not an upgrade for everyone else. Reopening the app inside those 30 seconds puts you back in your own seat with the round still running. After them the seat is released and the next match is a new one. Backgrounding the app does the same thing, because iOS suspends the connection within seconds of it.

I want my data deleted. YouDelete my data, in the app. It removes every row on the server that belongs to your device: the generated id, your results, and your rows on the weekly board. Nothing has to be requested by mail and nothing is kept to confirm the request. The privacy policy is the long version.

I have a new phone — how do I sign in? There is nothing to sign into. The game has no accounts and no passwords, so nothing can be locked out and nothing can be recovered: your records live on the device, and a new phone starts with an empty set of them.

The landing page answers the seven questions that come up most — what the game is, what it costs, what it stores, and who it is for. The rules are on the same page, above them.
