The information §5 E-Commerce-Gesetz (ECG), §14 Unternehmensgesetzbuch (UGB) and §25 Mediengesetz (MedienG) require a commercial website to carry. Written in English because the rest of this site is, with the Austrian terms named so that an Austrian reader can match each answer to the provision that asked for it.

It is its own page rather than a paragraph at the end of the terms. Both laws ask for this to be directly reachable, and a footer link labelled anything else is the reading a supervisory authority does not have to accept.

That address reaches the company, and it is where a formal request belongs — data protection, a legal notice, an invoice. Anything about the game itself is read faster at office@curve2gether.com, which is the same people and a different subject. Neither has a phone number in front of it, which the law permits: what §5 ECG asks for is a means of reaching the operator quickly, and an email that is read is that.

What it does

Software development and operation. Curve2gether is one of its products: a multiplayer game, distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play and playable in a browser at app.curve2gether.com, and operated by the company on its own server in the European Union.

Trade regulation

Chamber membership: Wirtschaftskammer Oberösterreich, Fachgruppe Unternehmensberatung, Buchhaltung und Informationstechnologie (UBIT).

Applicable trade rules: Gewerbeordnung 1994, readable in full at ris.bka.gv.at.

Trade authority (Gewerbebehörde): Bezirkshauptmannschaft Linz-Land, which is the authority for the district the company's seat is in.

Media owner (§25 MedienG)

Media owner, publisher and operator of www.curve2gether.com and app.curve2gether.com: Beserved Software GmbH, at the address above.

Basic direction (grundlegende Richtung): information about the company's own game and the service that runs it. There is no editorial content, no advertising, and nothing on either host written by anyone outside the company — the pages are the product's own documentation, and the game itself contains no text a player can write (see the privacy policy and the terms).

Links

Both hosts link almost nowhere. The game reaches one server and hands the system browser three URLs, all of them this company's own; the website links to its own pages, to the browser build, and — from this page — to the legal texts at ris.bka.gv.at. There is no third-party content embedded anywhere on either host: no fonts from a font service, no analytics, no video player, no social buttons.

Dispute resolution

The company is not obliged to take part in alternative dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration body, and does not take part in one. Consumers keep every statutory right they have; nothing here or in the terms limits them.

There is deliberately no link to the European ODR platform. The Commission shut it down on 20 July 2025, so the link every Austrian imprint used to carry now goes nowhere, and a dead link where a remedy is named is worse than the sentence that replaced it.

The game, its code, its artwork and this site are the company's, with two exceptions worth naming rather than leaving to be discovered: the interface font is Roboto under the Apache License 2.0, and the two music tracks are model-generated, carry a signed C2PA manifest saying so, and very likely carry no copyright at all — which is why the company asserts none in them and nothing it publishes describes that music as composed or licensed.
